  ARRIVE LEH

  Arrival at Leh Airport. Upon arrival you will be met by our representative & transfer to Hotel for Check in.Complete day for rest or leisure to acclimatize. Overnight at a hotel in Leh.

  LEH EXCURSION TO SHAM VALLEY (75 KMS – ONE WAY)

  After an early breakfast we start our day by visiting Sham Valley. It is known for its picturesque landscape, ancient Buddhist monasteries, and traditional villages. One of the popular destinations in Sham Valley is the Alchi Monastery. The valley is home to several small villages, including Likir, Basgo, and Alchi, which are famous for their monasteries and historic sites. Overnight at a hotel in Leh.

  LEH/NUBRA VALLEY(148 KMS/6 HRS)

  Post breakfast we drove to Nubra Valley. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung La (The Highest Motorable Road In The World) at 5,602 Mtrs / 18,390 Ft, around 39 km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers. It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 Ft. above sea level.
  
  Upon arrival in Nubra we check in at our Camp in Hunder to relax and get refreshed. In the evening we drive to Hunder where you have the opportunity to ride on a bactrian camel (double humped) amidst the sand dunes of this high-altitude desert with snow capped mountains on the horizon. Between Hunder and Diskit you come across sand dunes besides the road. It is indeed a strange sight since immediately on the left of the road are Rocky Mountains that characterize the Ladakhi landscape and in the distance, can be seen snow-capped mountains.   NUBRA TO TURTUK (166 KMS / 4.5 HRS)

  Post breakfast you will proceed towards Turtuk. Turtuk is known for its fruit, especially apricots. Turtuk was administered by Pakistan & was under Pakistani control until the war of 1971, when the Indian Army regained control again. It is also one of the gateways to the Siachen Glacier. Then you will e driven back to Nubra. Overnight at Nubra.

  NUBRA VALLEY TO PANGONG LAKE VIA SHAYOK VALLEY (150 KMS/5-6HOURS)

  After an early breakfast leave for Pangong Lake via Shayok Valley, probably one of the scenic landscapes as you drive across river shayok for most part of your journey. Reach Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). The lake is bisected by the international border between India and China. The lake became a rage with Indian tourists after Amir shot the climax of his film 3 Idiots and Ladakh became a destination overnight. On a sunny day the reflection of the sky makes the color of the lake look turquoise blue in contrast with the earthy mountains to make pictures look unreal and surreal. Enjoy the landscape in the backdrop of the Lake. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. Evening at leisure and Overnight stay at the camp near the lake.

  PANGONG TO HANLE (311 KMS / 07 HOURS – ONE WAY)

  Explore the lake area early in the morning as you would get some good images. After breakfast proceed towards Hanle. Hanle village of Ladakh is believed to be the best place for stargazing. The high altitude plains here offer beautiful panoramic views. The Indian Astronomical Observatory is established above Hanle village for astronomical studies. Overnight at hotel in Hanle.

  HANLE TO TSOMORIRI (180 KMS / 04 HRS – ONE WAY)

  Post breakfast you will proceed towards Tsomoriri. It offers travelers a breathtaking view of the Lake and its incredible surroundings. The Lake is one of the favorite spots for tourists in Leh Ladakh. You can visit here in the summer season, as the Lake offers stunning views and the weather at that time remains pleasant.The beautiful multi shades of blue color offered by this lake along with a picturesque landscape around gives this place an extremely romantic feel and breathtaking feel. Overnight at hotel in Tsomoriri.

  TSOMORIRI – TSO KAR – Leh (250 KMS / 8 HRS)

  Post breakfast you will proceed towards Tso Kar. Tso Kar is a Salt Lake located near the Manali Leh Highway in Ladakh. it is one of the three most famous lakes of Ladakh, the other two being Pangong Tso and Tso Moriri. Tso Kar is an ideal spot for people who want to visit offbeat destinations. It is also a perfect place for camping away from the crowd. Then you will proceed towards Leh. Overnight at hotel in Leh.

  LEH EXCURSION TO MONASTERIES (50 KMS / 02 HRS – ONE WAY)

  Post breakfast we start our day by visiting Leh palace sitting atop the Leh town to experience the grandeur of the kings of Ladakh. The architecture of the palace is something you can keep looking at for hours and the view from the top makes a picture perfect frame. Then we move to Sindhu ghat, Shey Palace, the ancient capital of Ladakh & 3 Idiots Rancho School & further 5 Kms. Driving through a picturesque landscape we reach Thiksey an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village. Thiksey monastery is the most beautiful of all the monasteries, built as a replica of La-Potala in Lhasa.

  After visiting the above places, we drive back to Shanti Stupa by evening to experience the sun set over Leh town and Zanskar ranges, the view from atop the Shanti stupa is just breath-taking. Overnight at a hotel in Leh.
